Overview
The OPTIWAVE 5200 is a 2-wire 10 GHz radar (FMCW) level transmitter for liquids, pastes and slurries. It is particularly suited for continuous, non-contact level measurement in storage or process tanks with small process connections or where it is difficult to access the tank roof (remote version recommended).
- PP or PTFE Wave Horn antennas (without gasket) for corrosive media
- Metallic Horn antennas:
- METAGLAS® second sealing barrier for toxic and dangerous liquids
- Purging system for antenna cleaning
- Antenna extensions up to 1 m / 3.28 ft
- Bent antenna extensions for tanks with internal obstructions
- Heating / cooling systems prevent crystallization or build-up
- Metallic Wave Guide antenna for clean liquids
- Quick coupling system: converter is rotatable and removable under process conditions
- Converter compatible with all BM 70x process connections
- Horizontal or vertical housing position
- Remote converter up to 100 m / 328 ft away from the antenna
